About this Series
This Course: As you have probably heard me say, our images are not finished when they come out of the camera. In these 17 Lessons, 2 Webinar Replays, and several QuickTips, I will thoroughly demonstrate how to use Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw to perfect your image for color and exposure, both globally and locally. This is always the first step to post-processing your image.
I think that most of us know when we look at our images, they need help. You can add textures and filters to your image but it cannot help or overcome the fact that the image first needs to be processed for the correct color and exposure. Once the image is properly processed for color and exposure, it has the opportunity to "shine" and it's also ready for other enhancements.
While you can completely adjust your floral image for color and exposure in Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw; however, Photoshop is required to make corrects and add other enhancements. This is also part of "perfecting" the image. When you are done, your image will have a "wow" factor that draws the viewer to your image and keeps their attention.
Here is a list of enhancements I teach in this course:
- How to use Photoshop Layers
- How the Brush Tools work
- How to use the Clone Stamp Tool
- How to use the Healing Brush and Patch Tools to fix imperfections in your flower, stem, or leaves
- How to make selections with a variety of Photoshop Tools
- How to easily remove backgrounds and add textures
- How to add Adjustment Layers for light, color, and much more
- How to combine several photos in Photoshop for layer stacking
- How to rid your images of small background imperfections
In the Live Webinar Replays, you watch "real world" examples of these lessons put into practice for everyday use.
In the Adobe AI Technology Revealed (2023) Webinar Replays, I will demonstrate just how powerful Adobe's new AI technology is. You will be able to put those tools to work on your own images immediately. As of January 1, 2025, these 3 webinars will no longer be bundled in this course so take the opportunity to purchase by December 31, 2024, to have these powerful AI lessons at no additional charge.
To give you an extra edge in learning to process your images, I am providing my sample images for you to use so that you can work along with me during the Lessons. Please remember these images are my copyright and may not be used, sold or given away to any person or entity including non-profit organizations. You also may not use, post, print or sign my images before or after post-processing.
The only thing I cannot do for you is practice, practice, practice. If you are going to photograph flowers seriously, then take your post-processing of those flowers seriously as well.
Join me in this Series and find out exactly how easy it is to take your images from ho-hum to eye-catching all while taking your post-processing technique to an all-new level of excellence.
